What a treat! And this is not the only one... I still haven’t managed to watch my flist regularly, and now I’ve just realised what I’ve missed on this community. Above all, it makes me happy to hear that you’ll be posting more HP art here, also that it won’t all be R/S. In your R/S I’ve enjoyed – among other things – how it refers to stories around the characters. And here you approach different parts of the first-war world in fascinating ways, while the prompts and your decision to complete sketches promptly(!) seem to inspire you to different styles.

In this piece the rough black is just perfect for depicting the tragic character at the point of his fatal choice. And your Regulus is absolutely heartbreaking. Thank you so much for sharing.

I’ll try to get the chance to comment on your other sketches, too. I’ve now seen three, I think, and found them all lovely and evocative.
